The Bronx Academy of Letters, a school in the Slow Food NYC Urban Harvest program, has purchased a greenhouse and is looking for a few volunteers to help assemble it. SchoolFood Garden-to-Cafe Internship

The Office of SchoolFood is seeking culinary interns for its Garden to Café Program. Garden to School Café is a program of NYC Department of Education, NYS Department of Agriculture & Markets and NYC Parks & Recreation, GreenThumb. The program connects school gardens and school meals through lunchtime harvest events and educational activities. The purpose is to increase students’ consumption of fresh vegetables and knowledge of healthful foods, farming and the local food system.
