The Brooklyn Slur - Hunter’s

7:00pm to 9:00pm

It's the Slow Food NYC monthly Happy Hour! It's fun, social, and informal. But it's also your opportunity to talk to the leadership of Slow Food NYC and let us know what you think. Got a great idea for an event? Looking for ways to get involved? Want to learn more about Slow Food? Just looking to have a relaxing drink with other "Slow" minded people? The Slur is your opportunity - free and open to everyone.

Hunter's, in Cobble Hill, Brooklyn, pairs an unpretentious, cozy setting (exposed brick walls, big marble bar) and a straightforward menu with enough subtlety and refinement to satisfy any discerning foodie. Their cuisine blends New American, French, and Italian influences and their focused menu changes seasonally, in order to highlight of-the-moment produce and game. With starters including a cheese board from neighbor Stinky Bklyn, house-made pastas, and mains like organic roasted chicken, Hunter's is the kind of Slow Food-friendly restaurant that every neighborhood should have. Even their cocktail menu — creatively named with drinks like the "Katniss Everdeen" and the "Honey Badger" — features local spirits makers like Brooklyn Gin and Brooklyn Republic Vodka.

We hope to see you there.

Location: Hunter’s - 213 Smith St. (btn Baltic & Butler); Brooklyn
