The Brooklyn Slur - Lot 2 and Bedell Cellars

Tuesday, May 27, 2014 (7:00pm to 9:00pm)

It's the Slow Food NYC monthly Happy Hour! It's fun, social, and informal. But it's also your opportunity to talk to the leadership of Slow Food NYC and let us know what you think. Got a great idea for an event? Looking for ways to get involved? Want to learn more about Slow Food? Just looking to have a relaxing drink with other "Slow" minded people? The Slur is your opportunity - free and open to everyone.

Lot 2, a green-market-savvy neighborhood spot named for the parcel of land that it sits on, is more much more than the name would suggest. With classics menu items, an ever changing Sunday supper, and daily chalk board specials, Lot 2 makes use of locally sourced produce, meat, and fish to great effect.

For our Slur, Lot 2 is proud to offer complementary tastings from Long Island winemaker Bedell Cellars. The wines of Bedell are made from sustainably grown vines that have deep roots in an ancestral glacial plane of silt loam and sandy gravel.  These soils, along with the vineyards proximity to the salt air of the Long Island Sound and Peconic Bay, form a unique maritime terroir. We hope to see you there.
