The Manhattan Slur - Jimmy's No. 43

Tuesday, January 14, 2014 (
7:00pm to 9:00pm

A special New Years Slow Food NYC Happy Hour! It's fun, social, and informal. But it's also your opportunity to talk to the leadership of Slow Food NYC and let us know what you think. Got a great idea for an event? Looking for ways to get involved? Want to learn more about Slow Food? Just looking to have a relaxing drink with other "Slow" minded people? The Slur is your opportunity - free and open to everyone.

Jimmy's No. 43 may look like a typical, neighborhood dive bar (literally, as you need to take the stairs down below street level to enter) but this local institution is actually a veritable paradise for foodies and beer aficionados alike. Owner, and co-founder of "The Good Beer Seal", Jimmy Carbone serves up a long list of mostly German, Belgian, and local beers as well as an ever changing menu of local, seasonal eats.

For our Slur, Jimmy will be offering complimentary appetizers to all our Slur attendees. We hope to see you there.
