The SPIRITS of NEW YORK Cocktail Event will support YOU by providing a special venue and occasion to showcase and offer tastings of your artisanal spirits to the public and VIP media, tastemakers, and buyers - all at one time, all on one day.

VIP and Press exclusive event will be from 5 - 6 p.m.

The day’s program will consist of two segments: a special, invitation-only, VIP segment, with free refreshments, and a public segment. We expect 150-200 highly food-focused, taste tourists at the SPIRITS of NEW YORK Cocktail Event.

The rules of participation in the SPIRITS of NEW YORK Cocktail Event are simple, designed to ensure that your product is in the company of other equally unique, high quality, very “slow,” local, artisanal spirits.

Rules of Participation
  • Production facility must be located in New York State,
  • Principal ingredients, if they can be grown in New York State, must come from New York State, to the extent possible, and, if they come from afar, must be fair or direct trade, as applicable,
  • Spirits ingredients must not include GMOs, highly processed additives, artificial colors and flavors, and processing agents,
  • Cocktails offered must be tasting size, x Oz., and use local ingredients, including local, seasonal fruits and vegetables, to the extent possible,
  • Spirits must be available for enjoyment in New York City, at retail shops, at bars, and in restaurants.
  • Producer principals must be engaged directly, "hands-on," in production, and
  • Products must be "sale-ready," - the production facility must be appropriately licensed and the product must have appropriate licensing and labeling.
Event Guidelines

Distiller participation
  • Invite only.
  • Table cost: $100.
  • Donate: 200, 1 fl oz tastes of spirit (*may be mixed with provided mixers, bitters, or syrups).
  • Alcoholic liquids may not be sold.
Bitters participation
  • Invite only.
  • Table cost: $100.
  • Donate: 200, 0.5 fl oz tastes of bitters (*served straight or provided to spirit providers).
  • Bitter liquids may be sold to attendees.
Mixers participation
  • Invite only.
  • Table cost: $100.
  • Donate: 400, 3 fl oz tastes of spirit (*served straight or provided to spirit provider).
  • Mixer liquids may be sold to attendees.
Fruit participation
  • Invite only.
  • Table cost: n/a. Grower will not be present during event.
  • Donate: 10 lbs of fruit (*provided to spirit provider).
  • Fruit sales will not be offered.
Snack participation
  • Invite only.
  • Table cost: $100.
  • Donate: equivalent of 400, 3 oz snack (*served straight to attendees).
  • Snacks may be sold to attendees.
