The "Slur" is the Slow Food NYC happy hour! It's fun, social, and informal. But it's also your opportunity to talk to the leadership of Slow Food NYC and let us know what you think. Got a great idea for an event? Looking for ways to get involved? Want to learn more about Slow Food? Just looking to have a relaxing drink with other "Slow" minded people? The Slur is your opportunity - free and open to everyone.
The Brooklyneer brings beloved Brooklyn vendors like Brooklyn Brewery, Salvatore Ricotta, Sigmund's Pretzel, and Buttermilk Channel to Manhattan. Even their bar top comes from Brooklyn: it's 30 feet long, and was once a part of the Coney Island Boardwalk! The Brooklyneer serves an array of craft beers and cocktails, as well as both local and international wines. The dinner menu is served until late and includes a collection of pickles, snacks, small plates, sliders, and hot dogs.
For our Slur, the bar will extend its happy hour: $3 mugs of house pilsner, $7 well drinks, and $7 select wines. The event is free, but please RSVP. We'll be in a reserved space at the back of the bar - hope to see you there!
