It’s the Slow Food NYC monthly happy hour! It’s fun, social, and informal. But it’s also your opportunity to talk to the leadership of Slow Food NYC and let them know what you think. Got a great idea for an event? Looking for ways to get involved? Want to learn more about Slow Food? Just looking to have a relaxing drink with other “Slow” minded people? The Slur is your opportunity.
Terre Pasta and Natural Wine is the new venture from the owners of beloved Park Slop gelato shop L’Albero dei Gelati, which opened in Brooklyn in 2003. Terre focuses on homemade pasta that is made using flour from the “Greenmarket Regional Grains Project,” which was created to support the rebirth of Regional “Ancient Grain” production. The restaurant uses fresh, seasonal ingredients from sustainable farmers and small producers, and its wine list features more than 100 natural wines—all served by the glass!
For our happy hour, Terre will offer a free glass of wine, along with nibbles and samples of their delicious gelato. The Slur will be held in the back garden, weather permitting. The event is free, but please RSVP. We hope to see you there!
