You are cordially invited to Slow Food NYC's 7th Annual Slow Down as we celebrate the 2018 Snailblazer honoree Michael Anthony, Executive Chef of Gramercy Tavern.
The 'Snailblazer' award is a designation granted to those leaders in the farm-to-table movement committed to a local, sustainable, and fair food system. Each year we recognize the work of the next Snailblazer with a convivial evening of good food & drink, bringing together New Yorkers for one spirited evening.
This year's Slow Down celebration will be a spring soiree like no other! Hosted at God's Love We Deliver in the heart of SoHo, the evening's festivities will feature music, wine, beer, a signature cocktail, silent auction with unique slow food experiences, and seasonal small bites featuring local producers & artisans.
VIP ticker holders will join Slow Food NYC for a VIP Cocktail Hour from 6-7pm before the main event, granting you exclusive access to drinks in the venue's rooftop garden & an opportunity to mix & mingle with New York City's food innovators.
Party proceeds benefit Slow Food NYC's programs including Urban Harvest, which supports good food education and school garden programs in 11 NYC schools and a summer educational farm in East New York, Brooklyn. Urban Harvest reaches over 2,000 school children in New York City each year.
Interested in sponsoring the Slow Down? Contact kelly@slowfoodnyc.org if your company would like to support this year's benefit with a fiscal or in-kind food & beverage donation.
